Confidence in Thebe Investment Corporation as a strategic investment partner of choice is emphasised by the backing of leading South African and international groups.

ABSA Capital holds 22.5% of Thebe’s equity while Sanlam holds 9.8%. The Batho Batho Trust, set up in 1992 to support the efforts of historically disadvantaged South Africans, holds 47.5% of the equity.

The balance of our equity (20.2%) is owned by an employee equity participation scheme, Umhlomulo Equity Participation. The result is a thriving investment management corporation that drives a sustainable business and delivers shareholder value.
